Job description

  • Conduct risk assessments for machinery and equipment
  • Identify safety risks and develop measures to minimize risks
  • Inspect safety guards, emergency stop systems, and safety functions
  • Develop safety concepts, inspection reports, and CE documentation
  • Maintain and update safety documentation throughout the development and production processes
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Service, R&D, and Project Management
  • Provide safety advice during design and commissioning
  • Support audit and certification processes
  • Manage and maintain all relevant standards related to CE compliance and machinery safety
  • Develop standardized safety concepts and protective measures
  • Train employees and project teams on safety requirements
    Advise internal departments on standards, directives, and safety solutions
  • Provide administrative support for the necessary CE and machinery safety tools

Requirements

  • Completed technical training or degree, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Solid knowledge of machinery safety, CE conformity, and relevant DIN/EN/VDE standards
  • Experience with DIN EN ISO 13849 and Functional Safety
  • Confident handling of risk assessments and safety-related protective measures
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical safety devices and safety functions
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, 2D CAD, MS Office, and ideally SISTEMA
  • Ability to assess technical interrelationships based on 2D/3D data and fluid diagrams
  • Analytical, solution-oriented approach combined with a strong commercial mindset
  • Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
