Job description

  • Responsible for PLC software development for automation systems, while also supporting commissioning activities both in-house and at customer sites in Germany and abroad.
  • Design and implementation of technical software concepts in close collaboration with project teams and customers.
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of software tasks within automation projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project schedules, and technical requirements.
  • Continuous development and standardization of software modules, as well as support in the preparation of technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical vocational training or a degree in
  • Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology, ideally in the machine and plant engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC Manager or Beckhoff TwinCAT is required.
  • Experience in commissioning automated systems.
    Independent, solution-oriented working style with good English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for project-related assignments (up to 30% travel).
