Job description

As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our projects—steering the course from inception to completion. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams (Sales/Applications, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing) to ensure that each project meets or exceeds requirements, stays within budget, and hits critical timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

 


Collaborate with Sales and Applications Engineering to fully grasp project scope, goals, and budget. Work together with Engineering to develop technically sound solutions that meet project needs and follow best practices.

Plan & Execute a roadmap that meets customer requirements, complete with a detailed schedule and resource allocation.

Lead & Motivate a cross-functional project team (Mechanical/Controls Engineers, Purchasing, Manufacturing) to deliver on time and within budget while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

Be the Primary Contact for customers throughout the project, communicating progress and managing scope changes.

Keep Documentation Accurate by maintaining detailed records like meeting notes, schedules, and action items.

Own the Budget by managing material and labor costs, taking corrective action when needed, and ensuring accurate expense tracking.

Drive New Business by identifying growth opportunities with existing customers.

Ensure Accurate Invoicing by providing complete project information to administrative teams.

Travel both domestically and internationally as needed.

Requirements

  • Preferably an A.S. or B.S. degree in engineering, manufacturing, or equivalent experience
    3-5 years of project or account management experience within a technical equipment manufacturer
  • Strong customer service mindset
    Proven experience leading projects in a technical or engineering environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide internal teams and customers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a sharp focus on project details and profitability
  • A passion for solving problems, driving results, and delivering value to clients
  • Competency in computer and office equipment with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Project, familiarity with 3D design software is a plus
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet project requirements
